SMI-S Compliant RAID Controller - Windows

Description

This connector enables hardware monitoring for IBM ServeRAID disks through the IBM ServeRAID Manager Agent component of the IBM Director Agent version 5.20.x (or the 6.10.x common agent) which supports almost all IBM Netfinity and xSeries servers.

Connector Activation Criteria

The SMI-S Compliant RAID Controller - Windows connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

  • Operating System is Microsoft Windows

    • WQL Query: SELECT Dedicated FROM CIM_ComputerSystem
    • Result contains: \(^30|\)\|\(|30|\)\|\(^3|\)\|\(|3|\)\|\(^2|\)\|\(|2|\) (regex)
  • The WMI query below to the managed host succeeds:
    • Namespace: Automatic
    • WQL Query: SELECT __PATH FROM CIM_DiskDrive
  • The WMI query below to the managed host succeeds:
    • Namespace: Automatic
    • WQL Query: SELECT __PATH FROM CIM_StorageVolume
