This connector enables hardware monitoring for EMC VNXe Storage Systems through the uemcli command line utility.

This connector is superseded by:

emc[6] hardware[7] storage[8]

Connector Activation Criteria

The EMC uemcli (VNXe) connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

  • Operating System is Storage System
  • The command below succeeds on the agent host
    • Command: uemcli -version | more
    • Output contains: Version: (regex)
  • The command below succeeds on the agent host
    • Command: uemcli -d %{HOSTNAME} -u %{USERNAME} -p %{PASSWORD} -sslPolicy accept /sys/general show | more
    • Output contains: Model (regex)
