EMC Navisphere CLI (LDAP User) Enterprise

Description

This connector enables hardware monitoring for EMC VNX controllers through the EMC Navisphere CLI (naviseccli). The naviseccli must be installed on the system where the agent is running. This connector uses naviseccli to connect to the EMC VNX controller as an "LDAP User", i.e. with "Scope 2".

Connector Activation Criteria

The EMC Navisphere CLI (LDAP User) connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

  • The command below succeeds on the agent host
    • Command: naviseccli -help
    • Output contains: Navisphere (regex)
  • The command below succeeds on the agent host
    • Command: naviseccli -User %{USERNAME} -Password %{PASSWORD} -Address %{HOSTNAME} -Scope 2 getagent
    • Output contains: Agent Rev: (regex)
