EMC Unity SMI-S Agent Enterprise

Description

This connector discovers the enclosure and the disks of Unity disk arrays, as well as the storage pools. It also discovers and monitors the FC ports, network cards of the array and various environment sensors (fans, power supplies, controllers). It relies on the array embedded SMI-S.

Connector Activation Criteria

The EMC Unity SMI-S Agent connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

  • The WBEM query below to the managed host succeeds:
    • Namespace: root/emc/smis
    • WQL Query: SELECT Dedicated FROM CIM_ComputerSystem
    • Result contains: \(^3|\)\|\(|3|\)\|\(^12|\)\|\(|12|\)\|\(^15|\)\|\(^16|\)\|\(^24|\)\|\(^25|\) (regex)
