Description​

This connector enables disk monitoring for ESX servers v4 and higher through discrete IPMI sensors.

Connector Activation Criteria​

The VMware ESXi - Disks (IPMI) connector will be automatically activated, and its status will be reported as OK if all the below criteria are met:

  • The WBEM query below succeeds:
    • Namespace: root/cimv2
    • Query: SELECT MajorVersion FROM VMware_HypervisorSoftwareIdentity
    • Result contains: ^\\([1-9][0-9]\\|[4-9]\\) (regex)
  • The WBEM query below succeeds:
    • Namespace: root/cimv2
    • Query: SELECT IpmiSensorType,SensorType,CurrentState FROM OMC_DiscreteSensor
    • Result contains: ^13;11;Assert; (regex)
